Abigail's Party

It's funny to think about a time before we had kids. We went to visit some friends yesterday for their daughter's 2nd birthday. We originally met them before we all had children. Now here we are celebrating children's birthdays. Nothing groundbreaking but it's interesting to stop and think about how time keeps moving and things keep evolving.

Abigail is now two years old, last time we saw her was a year ago on her 1st birthday. This year it was nice because the two girls could really play together. And Play they did. They were the only two little ones at the party and ran around all over the place together.

Abigail was nice enough to allow Gigi to help her open presents, which I am happy say she did very politely and then handed the goods over to Abigail's mom as she opened each gift.

Towards the end Ms. G was quite tired, it took about two minutes for her to fall asleep on the drive home!

Hanging out at the pool

It's been a few weeks since I posted pictures, so these last few entries will catch us up since the fourth of July.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon in our friend's new pool. Gigi loved the pool and she loved being in a house with 4 kids. Below are pictures of Rachel, Caitlyn and Gigi floating and playing in the pool.

Wendy's Party

Last weekend we went to Wendy's party. I know party, party, party. Actually this was an adult party but enough of us brought along little ones that we ended up playing out front. This is actually where Gigi first met Caitlyn, Rachel and Michael. She talked about them all week. calling Caitlyn "my sister".

Fourth of July

Last but not least I wanted to post a few pictures from the Fourth of July. Our neighborhood had it's annual parade. Here is a shot of Ben and Molly and below that Gigi riding on Paul's shoulders.

Somebody is watching over me (or Tooty at least)

I was driving home yesterday when I saw a open house sign pointing up the street next to mine. Could it be? I wouldn't let myself get excited. I drove up the street to see which house was for sale. It's one of the two I think belong to HER. OK don't get too excited, go home look up the address. I bound in the door, grabbed the directory and now, Yes! I can do the happy dance!!!

Sue Simons house is up for sale! Ding dong the witch is dead! Ok the house isn't sold yet, but it will and she will leave and we can let our cat out of the house during daylight hours again.

Know anyone looking for a house in a nice friendly neighborhood? Send them my way...
